Wellington Hospital Outpatients, 1900 John Sydney Swan joined F de J Clere as articled clerk in 1888 (then 14 years old), rose to chief draftsman by 1895, was a partner for a short time, but left to set up his own practice in late 1901 or early 1902. This drawing is signed by Swan as a witness. The building is segregated by gender with men and women having a separate entrance and separate waiting room. Men to the left, women to the right. |
